MindHub is a resource designed to support student mental health and well-being. Created by Madera Unified School District’s Department of Health & Wellness, it offers information, tools, and crisis support to help families understand and address their child’s emotional and behavioral needs.

Signs of concern can include sudden changes in mood, trouble focusing, withdrawing from family or friends, or a loss of interest in things they used to enjoy. If you’re worried, talk to your child’s teacher, school counselor, or a trusted professional.

If your child is in crisis, call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the Madera County Behavioral Health Crisis Line at (559) 395-0451, or reach out to their school counselor or administrator for support.

Try creating a safe space for open conversations. Be patient, ask open-ended questions, and let them know you are there to listen. Sometimes, activities like journaling, drawing, or watching videos about emotions can help start the conversation.

Yes! Many resources are available in Spanish and other languages. Check the site for translated materials, or ask your child’s school for additional support.

MUSD schools provide counseling, social-emotional learning programs, and behavioral health support. If your child needs more help, school staff can connect you with additional resources.

Encourage healthy sleep, eating, and exercise habits. Create routines, spend quality time together, and teach simple stress-management techniques like deep breathing.
